Learn more about MRT testing and the LEAP protocol!

MRT®, or Mediator Release Testing, is a blood test that quantifies the inflammatory response to 150 different foods & food-chemicals. MRT® testing is offered only through Registered Dietitian Nutritionists who have completed extensive training and passed a certificate course. MRT® is licensed by Oxford Biomedical Technologies.MRT® is targeted for those suffering from IBS, fibromyalgia, and migraines, but is also effective for a number of other medical conditions. Food sensitivities are often involved in autoimmune diseases, skin rashes, sinus issues, and many more….
The results of MRT® testing are presented with the “stop light” approach (i.e. red, yellow, or green categories). Red foods are highly reactive and avoided for at least 6-months. Yellow foods are moderately reactive and avoided for at least 3-months. Green foods are considered non-reactive and are included in your dietary plan.

LEAP stands for Lifestyle, Eating, and Performance. It is a systematic and controlled therapy that allows patients to implement dietary changes with a great deal of success and satisfaction. The LEAP diet plan contains 100% whole, natural and real foods that are personally recommended for you based on your MRT® results. LEAP reduces the guesswork of elimination diets by utilizing a proprietary 5 phase system that brings about a calming effect on the immune system. Lowest reactive (green) foods are introduced to the diet first with more foods added back in each subsequent phases. LEAP is the most strategic method of dealing with food sensitivity related illness that you can find anywhere. It has been used to successfully treat thousands of patients with IBS, migraines, fibromyalgia, autism, ADD/ADHD, IBD, urticaria, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity, etc.
Jan is a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT) and has completed comprehensive training developed by a team of dietitians, physicians, immunologists, and medical business professionals with more than 100 years combined experience in treating food sensitivity related conditions.
